  I reworked my Study on "The Temptations of Jesus"

  the scope of my writings now extends beyond the myopic borders of the wts's focus.

  at the same time, however, i know that most here have a broader interest, so i am making my latest study available.. i have rewritten my study on matthew 4:1-11, which is often called: "the wilderness temptations of jesus".

  The drinking culture is entrenched in Bethel. When I was there in the mid sixties, there were at least five cases of alcoholism serious enough to warrant rehabilitation. Two of them were women, wives of Bethel "heavies."

  I dont understand why KH's are less attractive than churches

  i mean, come on.

  if they call themselves the "true", then why are most kingdom halls not as attractive as churches and dont do any better?.

  If not ornate, there was a time in the 50s and 60s that many of the Kingdom Halls built by the then-relatively autonomous congregations with their own funds were quite attractive and showed some individuality.. that's all been wrung out of the organization.

  horror is easily my favourite genre of movie so i just thought i'd start a thread on it.. horror can be done badly and there are plenty of crap horror movies, no doubt about that.

  but horror can also be done very well, too - often on a low budget.. plus, there are quite a lot of subgenres - slasher, supernatural, monster movies, body horror, psychological horror, zombie, vampire, etc.. so, do you like horror?.

  what's your favourite subgenre?.

  What's happened is that Barr punted after examining Mueller's report.. he stopped short of exonerating him.. Trump's still gotta run the gauntlet of the SDNY,, a far sterner test for the old reprobate. What happened over the past weekend was the end of the beginning.
